Binderverse respects the intellectual property rights of artists and creators — credit and respect for art are part of what this product is for. If you believe content hosted on Binderverse infringes your copyright, you can request its removal under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Reporting infringement

For your notice to be effective under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), it must include:

Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed (or a representative list, if the notice covers multiple works).
Identification of the material you believe is infringing, with enough information for us to locate it — a Binderverse share link (binderverse.app/b/…) is ideal.
Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
Your physical or electronic signature.

We review complete notices promptly and will remove or disable access to material we determine to be infringing. We'll notify the user who posted the material and provide them a copy of your notice.

Please note: under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Counter-notices

If your content was removed and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent. It must include:

Identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your district (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Binderverse may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice or their agent.
Your physical or electronic signature.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we'll forward it to the original complainant. Unless they notify us within 10–14 business days that they've filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement, we may restore the removed material.

Repeat infringers

Binderverse terminates the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion.

A note on uploaded artwork

Artwork users upload to Binderverse is currently private to the person who uploaded it — it does not appear on public share links. Our Acceptable Use Policy requires that you only upload work you own or have permission to use, whether or not anyone else can see it.
